Valves
Epsilon Instrumental has the facilities to test, control, overhaul and repair any type of valve. Be it a safety valve, flow control valve, manual valve or pressure and vacuum valve, Epsilon has the correct equipment and expertise to deliver a quality service each time.
Our company has the capabilities to leek, hydro and pressure test valves to ensure all elements of the process control instrumentation are met. The Epsilon team will issue comprehensive reports on your safety valve and flow control valve testing as per ANSI standards and replace parts if required.
Epsilon supplies a wide range of valve products , all of which are capable of being overhauled. Your flow control valve, safety valve, manual valve or control valve will be sand blasted, primed and painted in the clients’ desired colour scheme. In addition to flow control and safety valve testing, Epsilon offers quality calibration services including instrument calibration and pressure gauge calibration as an accredited NATA laboratory.
Control and Manual Valve
Epsilon’s control valve repair and overhaul service can be tailor made to the clients’ requirements. Our certified technicians can carry out flow control valve testing and repair to ensure valves are operating to the highest standard. Like our onsite instrument calibration, Epsilon can carry out flow control valve repair either onsite or in our accredited NATA laboratory.
Epsilon can also carry out a complete strip and overhaul service on any type of control valve. This service is designed to effectively deliver a "new" valve to the client with a guarantee of trouble free operation.
Epsilon also has the equipment to overhaul and repair pressure vacuum valves used on storage tanks and set them against certified equipment to assess lift seal values and flow rates at the relevant set points.
Whether you require flow control valve repair, safety valve testing, instrument calibration or pressure gauge calibration, Epsilon can provide calibration services for every element of process control instrumentation.
Safety Valve
Epsilon has the capability to test and overhaul safety relief valves from pressure vessels, boilers and storage facilities. Epsilon can test a safety valve up to 600 bar, each test data logged on the system. This enables us to give a graphic representation of the performance of the valve, before and after overhaul, showing the release pressure and the reset pressure.
All safety valves are tagged and sealed and colour coded for the year of inspection. All lapping is carried out using Kemet diamond pastes for optimum surface flatness, and nozzles and discs are inspected using black light technology to ensure the components are flat.
Epsilon also has the capacity to “live” test pressure and vacuum safety valves used in tank storage facilities. The valves are physically lifted applying the correct pressure and vacuum values, and this ensures that they will operate when called upon to do so. Our experienced staff can also undertake pressure gauge calibration to ensure all elements meet industry and national standards.
Other Services
Epsilon has the capabilities to provide the full range of calibration services from a NATA laboratory. As an accredited NATA laboratory, all calibration services are completed to the highest standards. Our company has the facilities to supply a rapid and accurate valve repair service, safety valve testing, instrument calibration and pressure gauge calibration and repair from the one location.
